students to explore their pasts, reach for their futures, and inspire others along their journey! In this 45 minute program, students will learn about: UNCOMMONLY KNOWN local Black History Facts, West African Dances, Facts about the Geechee / Gullah Culture, Ring Shout Song, Essay Contest*, Giveaways, Book Signing (optional). Most importantly, we hope to ignite students’ inner warrior to search deep and learn more about their history-- THEIR-STORY-- in hopes that we can all learn more about each other.
